Red Bull came to the UO AMA with an exciting opportunity to be a part of their annual event: The Red Bull Gravity Challenge. This event consisted of teams creating unique egg protection crafts and then dropping them from a scissor lift at over 40 feet. The teams were judged on performance and creativity. The event took place on June 4th in the EMU Amphitheater.

Main Event 2008: Recap
The UOAMA's annual networking event took place last Wednesday (February 20th). The event had eight marketing professionals from various companies (such as Funk/Levis, The Duck Store, and more). Approximately 30 UOAMA members came out to network, eat some food and enjoy the ambiance. Professionals were given a resume packet and encouraged to share stories, experiences and advice. This year we had a dj spinning live music and the theme was monopoly. I have been a member of the UOAMA since my freshman year and this was the fourth Main Event that I have attended. It was very rewarding for my final Main Event to be such a great success. I hope next years is even better! Check out the pictures below to see some of the event.
